As a consequence, there is a significant gap between the cheapest gas plans available for the Sunshine Coast and the most expensive.
How much can you save by switching gas providers on the Sunshine Coast?
According to the Australian Energy Regulator’s 2022-23 Annual report “Savings are available for customers who move.” Average households on the Sunshine Coast served by the AGN gas network could save $179 per year by switching from the most expensive standing offer to the cheapest market offer*. Of course, around 60% of SE Queensland households with gas are already on market offers, but that is no guarantee they are on a good deal. Switching from the worst market offer to the very best gas deal would save as much as $154 a year*.
